The website was created within Sumereen project, which aims to promote Thi Qar as a tourist destination, through the construction of tourist infrastructure in Ur and other sites, the provision of training in traditional crafts of Dhi Qar, environmental conservation, and creation of employment opportunities for local communities, specifically youth and women.
